...and I already miss my sister. I ended up calling her after the day I ran into her and we hung out a lot during the rest of my time in London. Her husband's a nice guy, I really like him. He treats her very well, so I've got a slight trust in him. I did warn him that I'd murder him if he ever hurt her though like a good brother. :)
Despite how awesome my birthplace is, I was a bit homesick for the States. It's good to be back here! The rest of my family, my dad's half is here, while my mum's is back in the UK. Kind of hard to visit them all a lot because of this. orz Mum greeted me at my dorm and attacked me with hugs and kisses and asked how everyone was doing. I told her the old fine, fine, and then my dad attacked me with hugs and I was all, "Dad, not cool!" lol
I brought them both back some presents mum's relatives had meant to mail out for their birthdays (both in April haha) since they decided to just give to me to deliver since I was heading back at the end of April anyway. It's all swell. I really do plan on going back to the UK every summer after college. It'll work out better for me than winter like I did this year. The planes were so busy during New Years week with delays that it took me literally two weeks to find a plane and get there. orz
Maaaan. I highly recommend doing an educational exchange to another country for even a month. It's a rewarding and wonderful experience, though I do warn you might get a bit homesick if you don't travel much. :)
